Through thoughtful illustration and strategic layout, I craft visuals that not only communicate scientific findings clearly but also engage and educate diverse audiences. Whether presenting experimental data or breaking down abstract concepts, each poster is designed to be both informative and visually compelling.
Scientific Posters
Posters presenting scientific research, clarity and visual hierarchy are paramount. For a poster on isolating bacteriophages active against MRSA, I used clean diagrammatic visuals, tables and concise data graphs to support the narrative of experimental design, methodology, and outcomes.
Posters raising awareness use a more public-facing tone incorporating graphs and impactful statistics to highlight the main pieces of information, in this case, the behavioural and environmental factors contributing to AMR.
Infographic Posters
For topics that benefit from practical advice and quick readability, I design infographic-style posters with a numbered layout and minimal text. By combining illustrated icons with a structured visual flow, the content becomes more accessible and memorable.
Educational Posters
Educational posters that explain foundational scientific concepts offer a unique opportunity to blend visual storytelling with curriculum-aligned content. I’ve developed designs that trace the evolving model of atomic structure, from Dalton’s solid sphere to the quantum model, using comparative illustrations and historical context. In another project, I illustrated the stages of mitosis with colour-coded diagrams and cellular metaphors, simplifying complex cellular behaviour into an approachable and engaging visual sequence.
